I recently moved to Cotuit and Vollmer & Son was highly recommended to me by a local landscaper since I had no contractor relationships here on the Cape. We wanted to finish the unfinished space above the two car garage to create a home gym and update the home's sad looking laundry room space. After getting multiple estimates, I found theirs to be both comprehensive and fairly priced. Once we started the project, Peter was very flexible and easy to communicate with.  He easily accommodated any changes that came up along the way.  The workmanship on both spaces is truly wonderful and really well done.  Plus all the subs who came onto the project were great. Mark (father) and Peter (son) are a well oiled team and were able to fit our smaller project into their schedule as they built new homes nearby. We are thrilled with the results and the final cost was right on target with the original budget.  Any changes or code required elements we had to add (like an upgrade to spray foam insulation required by the building department ) were priced fairly.  There was only one item that was not quite right and when I told Peter about it he fixed it, no questions asked.  I definitely recommend Vollmer & Son and will happily refer my design clients to them as well! 

Vollmer & Son Construction, constructed a new custom built home for my wife and I. This is the fourth home that I have designed and have had built, and it has been by far the most satisfying because of the ability and professionalism of Peter and Mark. 

 Peter and Mark are both extremely professional and courteous. We have done many projects with them over the years. We highly recommend their work. They always have their customers best interest at heart. We know them as workers who always go above and beyond 

 Peter & Mark are a great team to work with.  They are detail oriented and focus greatly on the quality of their work, whether it be basic or custom.  The long-standing relationships they have established with the local vendors with helps the line of communication and time-frame for their projects to go smoothly and efficiently.  I would highly recommend them. 

 Peter and Mark are still part of "Old America"  They take pride in what they do, are up front and honest with you throughout the entire project.  We have worked on several upscale Residential homes and this father and Son team can't be beat when it comes to respecting people, respecting your property and good old fashioned hard workers.  Whats great about these guys is they are hands on, they are working beside each other on the job, that is not seen to often anymore.  I would recommend Vollmer and Son to anyone for any project.
